System: 5.8Kw  Ground Mount

Location: Borrowdale West, Harare, Zimbabwe

The plant was commissioned on 1 June 2021 at Pokugara Gate House. It includes a 16 x 330 solar panels mounted on the roof, 8Kw Sunsynk Hybrid Inverter with a battery backup of 21.3Kwh battery bank.

This project generates electricity to supply water for the whole community, including:

• 24/7 water supply
• CCTVs
• Boom gates and communal lighting
• The project has a potential of selling excess electricity back to ZETDC via the net metering program
